Addressing the Onsite Worker Shortfall in the Apartment Industry

Living on the Edge

The reality is that many Americans teeter on the brink of homelessness – one financial challenge away from living on the street, on a friend’s couch or in a shelter.  The overarching goal is to address the current and anticipated shortfall of 130,000 maintenance workers in the apartment industry over the next decade. With the support of grants, this program aims to hire and train maintenance professionals, making a significant dent in the workforce gap. Secondarily, this program can provide opportunities and a platform for onsite leasing and administrative professionals at apartment communities, supporting the overarching mission of Entryway.
